The cave within which this image is set is located beneath the ancient castle where the Nightwings, the thieving organization from which Thaddeus hails, are headquartered. The Nightwings rarely enter this cave, for it is home to a dreaded serpentine beast known as the Vryal, which knows neither friend nor foe and readily attacks/kills intruders.
