Worn book sit on the edge of a round coffee table. Its appearance hardly matches the neat and bright room that surrounds it. Your hand brush over the dark cover, nicks and scratches scattered across the thin dust cover. You flick to the first page. There is no date, just messy handwriting. Your eyes begin to follow the hastily written sentences;

Light
Intense light is all I really remember
Though it may of not been actual light maybe my eyes couldn't adjust to where it was
My skin god my skin I remember the heat that prickled at first then increased to a sting to burning
if i sit and think about it I can recall every part of me just ... burning
Where was I
How did I get there
Why was I there
Questions that slammed into my mind one after another after another till the real question surfaced
who was I
Did I know my name
Did I even have a name
I couldnt recall
