On a distant shore an aging creature sits watching the changing world. It feels kinship with the sea, gazing into its endless horizon and looking back into its life experience as if gazing across the vast ocean of time. It is saddened, the young do not listen. "Change or be left behind". they say. But the young do not understand that not all change is good. And so he watches the world he knew die around him. Content to be left behind it is resigned to its fate and the stone that shall take its body as the life leaves it. A relic of the past for those that remember it.
