This is the base design (ie, not a real ship, just something to lay out the style) for the Onathacarian's ships in my game, the Onathacarians being the major race. The white parts are impluse engines (sublight) and the greenish lines are the FTL drives.

Well, I tried for windows but was having issues with getting the maps to look right, I'll have to do a texture (what is there now is a fractal noise map). Also only the small middle part is inhabitable and the hull should probably look different, just not sure what to make it look like right now. ;)
