Gwen Stacy of Earth-4669, she was bitten by a radioactive spider that turned her into the monstrous Ghost-Spider. Unable to turn back, she has to leave her old life behind and fully merge with her new identity.
She's a college student, and her biology professor helps her come to terms with her new body and how to better control it - even become human again for very short periods.
