Well, in the movie at least. Totally a disservice to the character.
I'm a pretty big fan of Jurassic Park, along with a few others I know on here, so I had to commission some fanart of my character dressed as Robert Muldoon.(The raptor keeper) He was a lot cooler in the book than in the film, a functional alcoholic and strategist basically, and actually managed to kill two raptors and the adult T-rex before making it off the island! Oh, and Hammond(the old man) got eaten by Compy's instead. The moar you know. :V

And of course, Bob Peck's twelve years dead. Sad. I really like the fan theory that the raptors were smart enough to know who Muldoon was, and the pounce that we see in the movie is similar to how, say, a tiger might show affection for its keeper. "I love you with biting now!" I am, however, predisposed to thinking of other beings in tigery terms.
