Mary Grimm is one of my earliest OCs. she took form about over a decade ago as a Sonic OC, specifically Silver's mother hence her eyes & hair. it wasn't till I was playing Saints Row the Third when I gave her a human form. ever since I made her something has just clicked with me. while I love all my OCs Mary has a special place in my heart and I make her in almost every game I can.
she has 2 differt sets of lore. one in a modern fantasy story I call "Ms. Grimm" in which after losing her husband and child she becomes the Grim Reaper guiding souls to the afterlife in which one day she meets the reincarnation of her child.
in "A Goblin's Tale" (the one with Arlin & Irk) she's faced a lot of tragedy that's hardened her to the world. her real parents died long ago and a tribe of wild goblins took her in and raised her. life was simple and she enjoyed it. however a group of hunters clearing more lands for city expansions wiped out the whole tribe and assumed she had been kidnapped by the tribe. her whole family had been taken from her and now she was forced into a world she knew nothing about. she couldn't fit in with most other kids in the city but found herself falling in love with a guy named Ink who ran with his brother Eclipse in a gang. for a brief moment she found her place in the world again for a few years...but on her 19th birthday and 3 months pregnant with her child, Eclipse killed Ink and left Mary badly wounded...she lost her child. she was physically and emotionally broken. from the ashes arose a fiery spirit of rage as at her low point the legendary silver dragonborn Koji Kaiji had stumbled upon her. realizing the state she was in Koji did something desperate and worked a spell involving his blood. a single drop of Dragons blood mixed into humans is considered dangerous yet Mary took to it. Koji watched over her til the blood had completely healed her. Koji knew as soon as she was ready she wanted revenge so trained her for a long 5 years in which he turned her into a deadly warrior. since she finished her training she has made a living as a bounty hunter taking all kinds of folks in. she's still hunting for Eclipse and wants to bring him to justice.
