The first hatched egg of my second round of egg adoptables.

I had originally planned to relax the rest of the night, but when I was challenged to draw a stag beetle with the rune markings of the egg, I couldn't help but sit down and work on it right away.

This is the first bug that I've ever seriously drawn... which is sort of a shame, because some of them do look really cool to me. Particulat the really interesting looking beetles.
Earwigs on the other hand will make me run in the opposite direction.

Yes, I know that since it's supposed to be a baby critter, it should technically be a larvae. LOL. >_>

That being said, I love, love, LOVE how this one turned out!
