Today, Madeline wore an adorable red summer dress and a white polka dot tailbow, which suited her so well and contrasted with her unusual hair color. Mark gently stroked his wife's tail.
"Oh my goddess, you're so beautiful..." Sighed the husband, looking at his wife.
"Thank you." Answered the woman, looking back at him with a satisfied expression on her face.
"I'm glad you like my choice." Madeline added, slightly wagging the tip of her tail in satisfaction.
"I'm a very happy man and I really want to go for a walk with you, treat you to something delicious, ...and brag about you in front of other men..." Mark said.
"Then let's go. I've already taken care of everything, - Mom will sit with the children." The woman smiled, noticing the surprised look of her husband, who did not expect such prudence.
Madeline held out her hand and Mark helped the woman to her feet, as they left the house.

"Her mask."

"Why didn't you ever fight with me, make me a scenes, or scandals like other women do?
We have been together for several years and I always see only your smile." The husband asked seriously, looking at his wife.
"Would you really like that?" Madeline asked.
"It's simple, you silly, - I love you and I'm happy with everything as it is. After all, you've never made any big mistakes with me, taken care of me, you've always tried not to make me uncomfortable, you've always been honest with me, and our children love you too.
In the end, I would still get everything I want without resorting to shouting or tantrums..." The woman finished quietly.
"OK." Nodded the man, hearing such an honest answer.
"I hope you didn't get pissed at me for those incidents at the beach, city park, and ...when I put you on top of our dinner table yesterday?" Mark asked cautiously.
"Oh my silly one, you don't have to worry about that.
I like being with you, and your wit fun fantasy about our fun intimate moments makes me very happy.
But make no mistake about me, - you would be very surprised to know about all my fantasies in bed..." The woman answered, elegantly scratching the tip of her nose with her fingernail.
"And what about my mask... - It's much easier for me, it greatly simplifies life and relationships with others." His wife smiled warmly, without changing her usual facial expression.

"I married a demon." Sighed Mark.
"It's quite possible... But have you ever regretted about this?" Madeline smiled widely at him.
