Sorry about the amount of grass, but there's only so much I can do with colored pencils in a place that's supposed to be the beginning of a forest. I fully admit that this wasn't one of my better-planned pieces from the aspect of the sheer amount of green. I think with the remainder of my pictures I'll have to work on the backgrounds more, or I'll just have to go without.

I'm afraid I wrote in two dates. I left the year off of the first date, but when I went back to add it for some reason I thought it was the day, so it looks like I completed the picture a year from now. Which is probably how long it will take me to even attempt to do more realistic leaves. These look like crap.
