In Love: Reflection (2005)
Well, excuse me for not doing conventional furry art.
Composite of "Emergence" and "Salvation" parts.
=:Emergence:=
Love made something inside him glow and begin to root into the coldness of what was left of him from the last affair. He walked up to the dark, oil-like mirror and saw something different since a very long time ago. He was smiling, and his heart was open like a vein of ore. He saw something flicker in the mirror, and touched the surface, only to see his fingers sinking into it.
Love transforms you, no matter how many times it comes.
He is me. I am in love. In love, again. Some things repeat, like the flutter above my navel and the tingle below it. Other things are new, and are like the candlelight burning the gold. They say it is better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all. Have they ever said anything of having loved, lost and loving again?
=:Salvation:=
The passing was not without discomfort. The glass burned against his fur, skin and eyes as he walked through the dark mirror, rendering his form black by the tempering fires. Nonetheless this has made some parts of him pure, while others (like his warm bloodglow heart) remained unchanged. He glanced back, and saw that the mirror, as with most things in the world, was not a one-sided coin.
He knew nothing of this other side, though, and this does not worry him. Again, he smiled, for he knew that in this side of the shimmering clarity of a mirror, he had a second chance. Every second, the roots grew even more into his soul.

hmmm, i like it! its very strong graphically and well laid out! :3
possibly the only thing i can say is it would benefit form being even more crisp and simplified, like doing it in illustrator or something, and maybe even simplify the background, like just make it a clean line for the building silhouette, no blurriness, no pentagrams... but still, thats just my opinion, i like it a lot how it is! =3

This was done early 2005, and I wasn't familiar with vector drawing programs like Illustrator yet. Also, for the moment, I'm going back to my pencils and pens, though I have tried out Illustrator CS2 and it might be useful later on if I pick up on my flat-colours style again.
Thanks for the comment. ^_^
