I admit, I occasionally use my work equipment in an,…… unconventional manner. (Pushing trailer dollies with the back frame rails to spin the pintle to where it’s accessible with my picker)

But I try with all reasonable effort to not damage anything.

That said, it still happens, even just in a truck lot….. I can only imagine the carnage at a rock quarry!!!!

Amen to that. Had to deal with that over the years on various jobs. Always some jerk who breaks stuff then whines when I have him fired.

Oh I know we had a couple like that here. Myron grumbles when things take longer to repair but I do it the best I can the first time... I hate doing it over.

...mangled by former employees.When I was working in IT, we used to talk about 'Jackass Joe' who would break communal equipment (e.g., printers, copiers) and sneak away so he didn't get the blame. It true when I was doing security, too!

Oh I understand the same JA$$ that did this would rifle through my toolbox take tools and not bring them back, he would dump them in the shop tool box.

I had some stray 1 inch cable and made a bottom step and tail step for the 644, works okay!
