The Toana and the Keor are the two most advanced races in the local region, though the Toana had a mass exodus out of the universe about 11000 years ago, at the end of the last era, and they are much less common than they were back then. The Keor have since taken the lead and are the dominating force.

The Keor's rear limbs are rarely kept when they are born, and because they are often atrophied, they are amputated. On rare occasion, they are actually functional, and are held as a status symbol.
