Byylah the Otherworldy Belly Dancing Lizalfos (by Omny87)
For years, I never got an image of Umbelozar's sister. Originally, I had her named Tamilda, but I've since reconsidered the name. She is about eleven months older than Umbra and is an exotic professional belly dancer. Her body is incredibly flexible like a contortionist and she is always happy to perform for others. She's even had to perform as a hostage just to stay alive and even to escape from sticky situations.

Byylah is Umbelozar's sister; whom both love each other dearly. She is around eleven months older than him and a very accomplished professional belly dancer. By having a contortionist's figure, she quickly excelled at her line of dancing. The Flare Dancers that she and her brother was brought up by were very impressed by her raw and natural talent. Her flexible body enables her to form various postures and perform feats that could be seen as physically painful to the average body. She knows how to dress for the occasion whenever performing for an audience. She's even had to dance for captors just to distract them long enough for someone to rescue her. Even in the darkest of places, dancing does help Byy put her mind at ease and calm her nerves.
While she is not typically the fighting type, she has since learned some means of combat from friends who once helped to rescue her and also save her wounded brother. So she is capable of defending herself to a degree.
Her brother and her grew up with a traveling Lizalfos family. Unlike most Lizalfos that remain together in close proximities, their father and mother were always moving around from place to place. Half of the time, it seemed to happen out of the blue, almost as if someone was after them. Needless to say, someone was. During their youth, their parents befriended a troupe of Flare Dancers who offered them hospitality when they ventured to volcanic lands. However, during that stay, their parents went out one night and never returned. The reason they were being chased was because their parents had stolen secrets from Hyrule's Royal Family Tomb that disclosed how communication could be achieved from anywhere in the world through the incantation of mysterious melodies. After spending a long time on the run with their children, the Lizalfos parents ultimately decided to give up their game of cat and mouse for the sake of their children, leaving them under the care of the Flare Dancers. However, they did not leave without sharing the secrets with their young ones. When the time was right, the Flare Dancers told Byylah and Umbelozar why their parents had left.
The bond that Umbelozar shares with his sister is a powerful sibling love relationship. During one of their playful wrestling sessions, they discovered they were both rather flexible. Not only that, but they were also natural born belly dancers! However, Byy, being a female, was naturally more flexible than him. Every time they challenged each other to a belly dance off, she always won (though for a guy, he did a remarkably good job.) Their parents left them with heirlooms shortly before their disappearance. Byylah was adorned with the most gorgeous attire that a belly dance could wear! A two-piece suit that showed off her gorgeous body and came with bracelets and jeweled rings for her fingers and toes. Umbelozar inherited a shiny set of golden armor that was just like the greenish tribal armor that his own tribe of Lizalfos traditionally wear, including the sword and the sheath. He tried to play with the sword every chance he got, but when he cut his leg, his guardians insisted on watching him whenever he would use it. The Flare Dancers trained the Lizalfos siblings in the art of dancing. Additionally, he was also given a shield of bronze to wear over his wrist; a shield which normally came from the Twilight tribe of Lizalfos. Perhaps there's something about Umbra's ancestors that he and his sister are kept in the dark on…
Naturally, since his sister was older, she was the first one to leave the home. Though now living apart, the siblings and the dancers kept in communication with their own personal magical melody. Those documents that their parents had stolen yielded some wondrous results. One day, her brother introduced him to a female Lizalfos who was of the Skyward variety named Skylark. She was accompanied by her love interest, a Dinolfos named Night Fang. Unlike the siblings, Skylark was an orphan who had been raised by a Hylean knight and his mother since before she could speak, so unfortunately, she had no knowledge of Lizalfos dialect and only spoke Hylean. Night Fang knew some Hylean too and could speak in some reptilian dialect. During his meeting with them, a hostel tribe of rival Lizalfos had taken Byylah captive. Luckily, she knew how to keep them all entertained to prevent them from harming. During her rescue, Umbra sustained a knife stab into the back of his right hip and a near fatal slash to his left ribs that nearly ruptured part of his spleen. It was a miracle that they were able to find a fairy fountain while he was unconscious. Who knew how much longer he would've been alive for if they hadn't. It was equally fortunate that he didn't lose his spleen either, since they normally can't be repaired if they're ruptured. While he recovered, Skylark taught the both of them several fighting techniques that she had learned from her adoptive father. It was clear that she had learned from a genuine pro as she was an amazing sword fighter for a Lizalfos. Fighting was one skill that Byylah was severely lacking in, so learning some techniques was a major benefit.
She currently explores roaming the wilderness, learning of the various cultures she encounters and searching for a potential soulmate. She is able to ward off creeps with a combination of fencing and dancing. Her brother, their adoptive Flare Dancers and her still frequently sing or hum their tune so they will never truly be alone and defenseless. Some of the Flare Dancers are currently trying to concoct a melody that they can use for transportation.
