Once again I apologize for the photo :< I outtah invest in a studio or something to photograph my art in.

But anyway, for my watercolor studio class I decided I wanted to paint something that utterly terrifies me. And nothing has given me more nightmares than frigging cordyceps.

But yeah, painting is very therapeutic for me, and even though the subject matter creeps me right the hell out, it's helped me deal a bit with it too.

Also, I apologize for the fail! anatomy on the insects. And also Cordyceps don't actually have mushroom tops like that. I had to add them because no one in my class can friggin recognize a fungus unless it has a cap on it >( I guess that's why cartoonists put udders on male cows in cartoons too for that very same reason.

So yup, watercolors, ink, and watercolor gouache on a 30x23 inch sheet of bristol board.
