For years I have hid a part of myself away because I was scared to admit it aloud. I grew up during the 90s so there wasn't much in the way of a proper representation in media. Bashing gays and bisexuals was played off as a big joke, with bisexuals being treated as sex crazed jokes and sleazy more often than not. That scarred me for a while. But I'm going to be turning 40 soon and I need to stop hiding from myself and others because of the past.

So consider this my second, or third, time coming out by proudly saying that I am Bi... or rather I would say just that, but I am honestly not sure if I am ONLY Bi. I don't have much experience and have been sheltered for a long time so I don't really know myself as well as I would like to. I know I like both guys and girls, though lean heavily towards guys. But I don't really know many people that identify as something more or different from male or female. And because I've kept this bottled in for so long I have never even thought beyond that.

So for now I will accept and call myself Bi, but maybe in this next phase of my life I will find some more truth that has been hidden away all these years.
