The captain of the NS Savannah was apparently not the tallest person in the world. As a joke, the crew built him a high chair. However he liked it so much that he kept it. So here I am, sitting in his chair on the bridge.

Taken on Maritime day, the anniversary of the first steam powered crossing of the Atlantic, by the SS Savannah, after which the NS Savannah is named.
