Yes! although i'll never truly flesh it out, there is a consistent cast of characters and a canon that they all exist in; nearly every one of my characters i've posted here fit in, one way or another
I've even designed different clans for the Sclantra, with each one being adapted for different environments - for example, orange clan is adapted for trees, Blue clan is adapted for underwater, Silver clan for underground, and a few others

Aw, that's a shame to hear! If I may ask, is there any reason holding you back from making them their own more fleshed out thing? That's very cool that you have more characters and their own canon! lol I have a few different "universes" where I have characters set in. I'm trying to organize my gallery to better convey that and keep everything organized!
I'd love to learn more about them if you don't mind me asking! Whatever details you have! I love sinking my teeth into a good scifi!

The only thing that's really holding me back is my own workflow, I've committed a good portion of it to text already, but it's across a few discord text channels, long-winded rants, and a few word documents (i may be able to scrape something together tho)
Really though it's just that I prefer to do a lot of small sketches, some of them are canon but I just find it easier/more gratifying to do little character doodles rather than scenes from the lore; plus there's a bit of paralysis on the presentation - I can never seem to stick with one thing for long
(also i tend to make NSFW art, which rarely expands upon the canon)
I do wanna note tho - my worldbuilding project is more fantasy than sci-fi, with deities and magic and such
