One of the older barns on the tour. Timber hand-hewn and even part of the original roof and rafters. The shakes on the roof were not only lapped top and bottom but side to side. Another interesting thing is that most of the siding is also original. You could see that the siding was thicker above and worn thiner at the bottom. Two silos, one a more "modern" wooden silo and an older stone and salt tile silo. Pay no attention to the mulberry tree growing through the tile silo.
