Another old drawing from roughly one or two years ago. A pal scheduled a high level character D&D one-shot, and I ended up settling on a lizardfolk ranger-barbarian who bested another hero in his past, granting him his iconic two-handed enchanted mace and his pauldron. Forgot basically everything about this character, but I remember having lots of fun with him! Big numbers are addicting.

This was probably my first real try at drawing something cool and detailed, and I remember really struggling, diving in and out of artistic inspiration on the daily. I think what really did me in was the scales and the perspective on the mace. Both came out alright, but the former serves as a indicator that I'd like to learn how to imply texture rather than painstakingly draw every contour of it. My contours and lines tend to be fairly uneven and scratchy at times, but this one's pretty rough in those regards.

I'd like to re-draw this one some day!

Another stop-gap between the usual business and practice. Been experimenting with various lessons and techniques, and haven't created something suitable for uploading. I may create a separate folder for sketches and quick stuff down the line.
