Been feeling better, better enough to make a character to go along with Spike. This is Ellie, a young Sambar Deer who moved from South Dakota to the quaint little town of Nightmoure. Since I did base Ellie off of Molly to go with Spike, she’s a very optimistic and cheery person. She does whatever she can to help the people she cares about and hates seeing others sad or upset.
She can be a bit naive at times, usually when it comes to seeing the good in others, but it did land her a forever friend. She considers Spike to be her very best friend and loves to spend time with him, much to the poor ghost’s annoyance. But, she’s noticed how he’s begun to settle into family life, despite him swearing up and down he isn’t.
Ellie’s design was really fun for me, especially as my first deer. I wanted her colors to be associated with autumn to go with her brown fur. Sambars are pretty dark colored deer, so that was great to work into her appearance with her spots and freckles. I also went with giving her braided hair, even though hair is an area I feel I need work on. My end goal was to make her cute and let her sunny disposition shine.

She is sooooooo precious! ^!^ Love those expressions! Love her fur patterns! ^!^ They're like hot chocolate! ^!^ Hehe! Perfect for the fall look. ^!^ And love that her natural spots look like freckles, with 1 little heart on her cheek! ^!^ Hazel eyes to go with her chocolate fur, brilliant! ^!^ Cute, little tail, big, expressive ears, soooo cute! ^!^ Honestly, really great job with your 1st deer! ^!^ I see the practice with rhino boy helped with the hoof-hands! ^!^ Oh! And the way her fur is patterned around her nose makes me wanna boop it! XD Hehe! XD Target = nose! XD And her hair is soooooooooooo cute! ^!^ I love braids! ^!^ They're just the cutest hairstyle for cuteness sake, imo! ^!^ Real good for a 1st try. ^!^ Though you missed 1 curvy line in the 2nd braid. XD But I think the random stray hairs is great! Very realistic. ^!^
And her outfit is perfect! ^!^ That pink hairband, cute! ^!^ And a gradient of oranges, some of which are creamy, with some wavy designs and a heart? Soooooo cute! ^!^ Goes with the hairband too. ^!^ Hearts I have a bias for, but they are factually cute regardless! XD Anyway, the colors for her shirt are perfect, because they're peach colors! ^!^ 🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑 Heh. Not so much fall, sorry. XD But peach I think is better. ^!^ Because peaches are sweet, like her! ^!^ And they're a summer fruit! Sunny and warm like her! ^!^ Oh!
But the skirt is definitely fall. ^!^ A nice plaid of reddish-browns matches her fur and contracts super well with her bright sweater. ^!^ Plus those suspenders really help bland the 2 together while also helping to make her look even cuter! ^!^
And the sweater plus skirt look is just like Mable Pines. Hehe! ^!^
But those shorts underneath the skirt are more Molly. ^!^ And totally help bring out her fur and skirt by being a neutral base. ^!^
I just wanna snuggle her! ^!^ 🦨💗🦌
