More from Tikara
been in a bit of a Sonic mood, so I sketched up my original persona, the name I use on DA and MSN, the "Mind Behind the Mew", Charmer the Echidna/Dragon. DA won't let me use / marks wtf xD
STORY TIME~
Charmer was first created around when I graduated from 4th grade in Early 2002, long before I came up with Tikara. She was originally a cross between Knuckles the Echidna and Spyro the Dragon. Back then I was an avid Spyro fan, so I created her to be a sort of "replacement" for Spyro. In my mind, she was the one walking around Spyro's world instead of the little dragon himself.
My original story for her was that she was a normal Echidna before he found the portal to the Dragon Realms in her father's attic. Charmer wanted to stay in the realms, but to survive, she had to become at least part dragon, so the dragon groups gave her half dragon abilities. Because Charmer couldn't breathe fire, she gain the ability to shoot flames from the palm of her hands (a skill she keeps today). Once the first story of the original Spyro game was beaten, she gained the charm around her neck, a permanent trustbond between her and dragons. As long as she keeps her charm, she can gain the trust and communicate with other dragons.
Then I came upon the online world. Tikara existed around then, but she wasn't my main persona then. I followed my favorite artist and now good friend, ~MistressVixen to DeviantART, and Charm's name is what came up. I pulled her from the Spyro series, changed her gender (before I came to the online world, Charmer was male like Knuckles and Spyro) and used her as my main persona. Now adays, I use Tikara much more often, but I now consider Charmer, the "Mind Behind the Mew". In a nutshell, I'm drawing Charmer drawing Tikara and everything else in my little world.
....... my hands hurt now xDD
Anyways, I tried something new for this picture, when I colored it, I didn't soften the colors and kept its unsoftened texture, which I actually kinda like X3 and I fooled aroubnd more with Burn brush and textures here... so yeah xDD *LAME*
