...Been a while, hasn't it?
I... can't recall the last I saw a familiar face... though I guess you're not exactly the same as the one I knew.
Guess I'm the same to you then, no?
Just a stranger with a familiar face... who so happens to share the same name, same voice... maybe the same soul, however they work.
Honestly if I were the same as I was all that time ago, I'd think you were a ghost. Part of me wants to, even though you're right here.
Ah, that's enough dour rambling. Care for a wing-hug? For old time's sake? Not the best host if I'm not welcoming a guest.
...Don't mind the robe, it's just for show.
So in light of recent brainrot no thanks in part to the recent drawing of a certain cosmic bat, I wanted to take it a step further and give it more divergence -- hence the creation of an entirely different variant of Naruga to accompany it.
He is, in fact, the aforementioned 'Moon Caller' -- like the 'main' Naruga, having inherited Lunala blood from his mother, Vyrne. Except unlike the prime version of himself, this bat boy's meant to be slightly older and a bit more worn down... hence the tired look in his eye, and even more unkempt mane. (Granted he probably just needs some rest and take time to groom himself. If only upholding such an important legacy wasn't such a hassle.)
But, yeah, I wanted the distinctions to be visible enough through an alteration in his main color palette -- keeping it JUST similar enough to where it's still the Noi everyone knows. Sorta harkening back to his original design concept, I actually went off the first drawing I ever made of him for the ear-shape, as I've recently been drawing his ears curving upright -- this boy's curve downward at the ends.
...Not sure if I'll put out a fullbody any time soon, considering I still need to do so for prime-Naruga; regardless, I may see about making new folders to differentiate them so things aren't as confusing as they already are.
