Mazz is a irken observer and a expert in intel gathering on planets, she was the best of her class and manage to gather to win the respect of her fellow observers, Mazz even manage to get the attention of the Tallest, she was slightly taller then her fellow observers and her coordination was uncanny nobody could match, so she was put on many conquering missions in the Irken Armada.

Her downfall happens when she accidentally ate a donut from the Tallest and cause them to destroy a planet while fellow irkens where in it, Tallest Purple was mad because she eat his donut by accident more then the planet destruction, she was put on trail by the Tallest themselves for her petty crime, Mazz as begging for forgiveness but the Tallest gave her none, she was put on janitor duty for the 50 years.

Mazz did as she was told during that time she met a small chubby irken named Rabu who was put on the same punishment after he accidentally destroyed a armada ship by misfiring a shot to the generator while it was under repair, they quickly became friends and well the whole janitorial duty wasn't so bad having each other.

But one day while doing their routine duties, they say a tall irken escaping from security bots and they decided to to help her... it was Princess Elya the known Miyuki's gene daughter, who was running away from Kex's laboratory, the duo knowing that helping her might be dangerous decided to help her escape Irk and they manage t escape thanks to Mazz's memorization of the lower sections of irk and manage to get to the space port escaping alongside Elya, since she was declared a traitor by the irken authorities.

The trio escape successfully from Irk and into open space, but they ended up crash landing on a trash planet where a group of outcasts irkens where there searching for scrapped parts for their ship, Mazz and Rabu manage to get out of the ship but Elya was trapped, the little irkens manage to find the outcasts to help them to save Elya, one of them named Zeg told them he will handle it and uses high explosives to open the hull and it was a success even the other outcasts where a little too annoyed by his reckless tactic, when Zeg opens the ships side door and look inside he saw Elya and recognize her... he quickly shuts it down and walk away by telling the others:" There is nothing important there." while screams of where heard from the other side, the other just went to help the irken princess, they find out who she was and help her put against Zeg's wishes.

Mazz then tell them what happen to her and why she is there, the outcasts then convince her to stay and the others too, Zeg wasn't happy to have a tallest around since he have some bad experiences with her in the past, the leader Nya was knew what will mean to have her around meant but she knew Elya was betrayed so she kept her around. Mazz and Rabu went to the process to remove the anti-growth chip from their PAKS allowing them to grow to their real size, Mazz grow to be as tall as Nya and Mya, while Rabu got a incredible growth spurt he was no longer chubby he was tall and well shaped, Mazz couldn't stop staring him after his growth was done.

Both Mazz and Rabu became very close and even make a bond becoming donuts enthusiasts as well as other junk food... to the point the became lovers.
