Wow. The only reason I frequent this site is to monitor new works featuring the incredible character design of Sally, and this is one of the best depictions I have ever seen. The coloring, shading, and rough textured finish is STELLAR, and the bluish glow to the left as it transitions to the darkness on the right gives her such incredible visual depth. Her calm expression is so relaxing, and her large blue eyes are magnets for the viewer's eyes.

My guess as to the setting: She has been captured by Robotnik, placed in a prison cell protected by energy beams, and is looking back at someone in the cell with her.

Seriously, magnificent job. Be proud that you have created one of the best portrayals of Sally Acorn. Thank you for sharing it. Do you sell prints? If not, are you okay if I have a large custom-printed poster made of this?
