Some random fan art I had to do after having this song stuck in my head for the last two days…

Excellent! We read Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats when I was in 5th grade. My favorite was Macavity the Mystery Cat, but Gus: The Theatre Cat was more sympathetic.
WTF are you talking about?

That’s cool to hear. I have my own copy of the book. All the poems are fun to read.
Also, I’m not sure if you’re being serious about that last statement or not, but just in case:
All of T.S. Eliot’s poems were adapted into song in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s broadway musical: Cats. This fan art of Gus is roughly based off of Ian McKellen’s take in the 2019 film, but if you want a much better example, here’s the 1998 version with John Mills:

A a former classmate (I only saw her a few times) had a running part in the original Broadway run of Cats. A previous girlfriend knew her well and told me about it. No idea what she's doing today (she'd be over 65) or if she's even still alive; I'll have to ask my friend at the next reunion.
Wow, John Mills made a great Gus!
