My art style study inspired by Kazuma Kaneko (金子一馬). Kaneko is the OG artist for Persona (ペルソナ) and Shin Megami Tensei (真・女神転生)!
Starring Herald Seraph (大天使 セラフ), Divine Cherub (天使 ケルプ), Divine Throne (天使 ソロネ), and Divine Dominion (天使 ドミニオン).
Kaneko is known for his 'gothic doll' style: porcelain skin, lower eyelashes, and black upper lips.
I also notice his short faces, downward half-moon eyes, boxy hands/feet.
Counter to my artist instincts, Kaneko embraces the digital look, including photo textures and backgrounds. The rendering is so burnished and shiny...
