Ooo I like this one.... Messing with new fur techniques. This is a quickie "cool off" pic from my Horse one that took so long.
This is for Balaa because her art is friggin' awesome, and she is highly inspirational to me, and one of my fav artists. *hopes she got the markings somewhat correct*

Those eyes are /very/ arresting to say the least!
Lots of potential in the way you're depicting the leo's lips and nose (esp. on the mid-right side) and the tones on the top of that muzzle do add the correct amount of depth, I think.
Hrmm... *tries to describe the crispness of a lion cub's fur*. That's pretty close, anyhow ^^
Good to hear benefiting from and crediting such inspirations. Should be even /better/ in a community such as this :)
