Second Heroforge OC, let's go. Katsuya originated from me playing with AI Dungeon back in 2020 when it was the hot new thing. One attempt at the default wizard scenario put me through a portal to "the world of Nyttrus" where my first encounter was with a friendly owl (the basis for Olivia). To which my response was roughly: "Hell yeah, furry world, let's fucking go."

Eventually, the game led to another owl, an alchemist who AI Dungeon decided was my study abroad host, inviting a guest over for an evening snack and study collab. At this point, I really wanted a crow furry, so I hijacked the prompt and made the guest a crow. The crow guest proceeded to: devour the fruit platter, return a borrowed tome that had too much academic jargon in it, asked if I could help him decipher said academic jargon sometime, then laughed and said he liked me. It was a fun experience at the time, but in retrospect, I hope they had an ethical dataset for it D:

Problem was: AI Dungeon never gave him a name. To make matters worse, I was in a bit of a rough patch from 2021-2022, so I didn't have the creative motivation to come up with a name. It wasn't until this year that I decided on Katsuya Sakamoto (坂本 勝夜 in kanji, because  TatsuoDaichi likes to include the characters from his OCs' names' original language for reference, and I'm inclined to agree with him) because I felt like my OC cast needed more non-Western names.

I made two outfits for him. This one is for when he's practicing magic and going on faeworld adventures. The tome he's holding here is stylized after a Fire Emblem wind tome because I cannot help myself :P
