Erm... hate to correct you, m'friend, but my inner weapons geek is screaming at me... those are poleaxes, not halberds. A halberd has the axe blade on one side of the shaft; on the other is a hook or spike used to trip people and pierce plate armor. On the tip is a spearblade so the thing can be used to stab as well as chop.
