Issac's been keeping up a story that, whenever he suddenly cant go to lecture or practice or some other fun thing, it's because of these bad allergies he's been having lately. Of course it's a little more complicated than that, in truth, and he's not quite sure how long he can maintain the charade...

I love how in four panels you establish how long-suffering this poor dude is. His phone broke just one day ago, he likely had no chance of having it replaced, and when the fairy fixes it they immediately, intentionally place it in a situation where it will likely break again. Then he has to deal with the fact heโll have to miss his classes, and the fact that people are getting suspicious of how many things heโs missing... poor, poor dude.
That's definitely something I'm glad was really able to come across -- Issac is Absolutely Cursed. This is not a kind fairy godmother situation, this is a superpowered poltergeist that sees him as not too much more than a lump of clay that talks and walks. The trope of 'How long can you hide your supernatural other life from your normal friends/family' is also one of my very favorite in casual fiction, so exploring that dymanic and pushing those scenarios is a joy to me ;v;
There's so much nuance in this picture, from the awkward way he is holding himself being unused to his body and the clumsiness of no longer having arms, to the body language and expression of him just being tired of the crap he's going through, to the implication that the other person has told him to 'take care of himself' and the crushing feeling that he can't really do that right now. Never seem a harpy in this kind of position before, looking so defeated; it feels like a sad picture but also quite a beautiful one. Kinda hope he might be able to experience the upside of wings so it isn't a totally miserable experience.
