302 years ago, a terrible cataclysm forever changed the course of life in Ethria. Flora and fauna mutated into horrifying monstrosities, entire swaths of the country became inhospitable, and living became a daily struggle for most. And the Elysian dragons, those that controlled the continent centuries prior, fell into myth and obscurity. Their wonderous technological and magical prowess vanished beneath the rubble. For a long time, the creeping inevitability of the post-cataclysm world threatened to devour all of civilization that desperately clung together. As a small group gathered together to find any answers that lingered in the ruins of the dragons, they discovered the world-shaping device that had caused the cataclysm: the Eye of Isaryn. While this magi-technological marvel could revert the disaster and find them answers, they learn they aren't the only ones to seek leveraging the remnants of the Eye.
Will they be able to save their world, or will the remaining Elysian dragons snatch control from their claws?

So! This is the TTRPG I've been running for nearly a year now. It features 3 player characters, Anzi (the dragon), Deima (the moth) and Av'adae (the snek). In a post-apocalyptic society where magic had formerly advanced to the point of a near-spacefaring civilization, they contend with the lingering dragons in Elysium to finally free the world of the disaster that had befallen it. The Elysian dragons are a driven, powerful, and crafty bunch, so they'll need every skill and ally they can muster in order to prevent them from using the Eye to re-establish their stranglehold over the whole world of Ethria.
So far, we're about 40 sessions in and show no sign of slowing down! We're using a heavily modified and homebrewed version of Exalted that did away with a lot of the class system and gave us the flexibility we needed to run in a completely different magic system. The world of Ethria and the incredible city of Elysium are pulled from a lot of the legwork for an old novel I never quite finished.
