Another redesigned character. Actually drew this about 2 years ago--only got a new scanner late last year.
Anyway, testing out a slight redesign on Diana. Ruffly skirt was inspired by Mary Marvel (not that I read her comics--just saw her on Atop the 4th Wall's coverage of Countdown, and thought her outfit was cute). I may or may not keep it--It's almost too girly for her, but it does make her outfit a little more interesting, and gives her a more youthful look. It's also a little more practical as it allows more freedom of movement (her old skirt was just a tight mini-skirt with one high slit). Unlike Mary Marvel, tho, there would NOT be an upskirt shot every other page and at least Diana isn't jailbait, thankyouverymuch
I think the gloves are definitely keepers. Her outfit has always been a throwback to She-ra and I'm trying to get away from that.
