The fomorians are a semi-aquatic, underground-dwelling breed of monster native to Ireland. They are the descendants of Greek Cyclopes who migrated there and mated with local mermaids. They have had many conflicts with the Irish over the centuries, but since the conquest by Britain they two groups have become increasingly friendly.
This design takes inspiration from various sparse descriptions of the fomorians.
