''Aquasa the Water Wolf'' [w/ Ref Sheet]
This is Aquasa, an 8-year-old wolf cub with water-based powers. I decided to go ahead and make it a Ref Sheet right away, since that tends to be the most straight-forward way of introducing a new character to your audience.
Character Description --
💦 Aquasa loves swimming, playing, going on adventures, relaxing at beaches, and mountain climbing of all things. He was born at the foot of a snowy mountain next to a beautiful, quiet lake during winter season, and ever since coming into this world, he has loved controlling water at his will, and creating small currents for him, his family, and the friends he made throughout his early youth to play around in. When push comes to shove, Aquasa is willing to help out anyone who is in danger, and he of course knows how to handle occurrances of others in danger of drowning. Aquasa also likes having adventures underneath the surface, even if he inevitably has to swim upwards after a certain period of time in order to get fresh air -- remember, he is still a wolf, after all. And wolves are mammals, and thus can't breathe underwater -- he always makes sure he makes it out unscaved, and because of this, he likes taking risks every now and then. If really needed, he could cause the water around him to flow upwards using his water-based skills, meaning he can get to the surface faster than other creatures could. Aquasa can also camouflage himself, mainly by using the light-blue parts of his body and the beautiful bright pink stripes on his belly, the former making him very hard to spot by predators like sharks or pirañas if the sunlight shines down from above, which in turn makes Aquasa almost indestinguishable from the sky above. He can then use this to his advantage and swim towards land and escape his attacker. One of Aquasa's favorite activities is drifting along with the current of any creek or river in his nearby surroundings, which often helps him relax and relieve stress if he so desires -- even if this more often than not causes our azure-colored canine buddy to end up in all kinds of places he has to trudge through in order to return back to his homeland. But Aquasa views this as a positive, since this way he gets the opportunity to travel to new and exciting places and learn about his surroundings. He is also very eager to show his friends and family the things he's found or anything he has learned throughout his (mis)adventures in the area.
~ I've put in some... ''oddities'' in this picture, particularly the reversed letter ''q''. This wasn't intentional, since I drew the letter in the wrong direction on accident (EDIT: I've currently managed to fix that mistake though), but this has encouraged me to look at the same work in different ways. At first I saw it as something I should've taken out and edit to look better, but other than rather looking like the letter ''p'' (before I fixed it), I figured the ''reversal'' of this letter ''q'' might reflect (bad water-themed joke?) Aquasa's stout nature and his curiosity. So... that's my way of turning a minor error into something quite fitting for the displayed character -- even if I ultimately managed to correct that part and redrew it to look like I intended it to look when creating this Reference Sheet.

Oh, he could wear diapers just fine. He can ~control~ the liquid around him á la Avatar's Water Benders, but he is not ~made~ of water.
Well... if you want to be ~really~ specific -- he IS made of water. But so are you and I. I don't wanna be a nerd here, but a big part of a human's cellular structure consists of water, along with a kind of iron -- we eat spinach because it is rich with iron for this very reason, y'know.

Eh... no, they wouldn't be siblings, because then either you should be a Water Wolf yourself, or he would be a... Vulpix? Which is absolutely not the way I want things to go in the story I'm developing about him at the moment (Things are going very slowly, but I am starting to pick things up again after a hiatus of almost an entire year).
