No backstory. Of course you can create one if you combine Hokuto no Ken (Fist of the North Star) and Digimon together.

*thinks and smiles, silently laughing to myself* As HolyWarGreymon, I always choose the side of the good guy. ^.=.^ So WarGreymon! x3 Besides, it looks like he needs some help. x3 BlackWarGreymon is around one & a half times bigger then WarGreymon...wouldn't be very fair. xD

The first thing I notice is how cleaner the lines look.

On the characters themselves, WarGreymon's left arm looks a little weak especially on his hand, and his legs look too skinny around the knee (but I do not know if they are supposed to be that way, since I do not know about muscle work), and his pose does not really give anything. Also, the bands around BlackWarGreymon's "loinplate" are not the same size, even when taking perspective into account.

Those points fail to mar my enjoyment of this picture, though. I mean, BlackWarGreymon's anatomy is spot-on, with his size, pose, and expression all working together to give that feeling of aggressive imposition. His snarl, glowy eye, and helmet work together to give that message. WarGreymon's expression is very fitting for the situation in which he is, especially his eye. The way you drew their helmets are cool, most notably their horns. However, my favourite part is the way you drew their hair, I mean, you drew their hair in a wild matter, fitting their aggressive nature, especially on BlackWarGreymon. Their hair looks cool that way here. In all, the way you drew them gives a sense of energy.

Stepping away from the characters, I like the whole purple glow background you gave, adapting around the characters, though I wonder upon those stray lines...

P.S. I am more familiar with BlackWarGreymon, so I root for him here. (In all seriousness, I wish that this was an animated battle, what with them being like this with their muscles showing.)

Nice touch on the facial expressions. Hahahaha i thought the fight would be Violent but instead it went the other way.
