Diabetes!

Watercolor, kicking my ass. I had a hard time with Ink (the squid) and had to use quite a bit of acrylic over her to cover up my ineptitude and shame. It's weird how these look like you've totally ruined them until you're close to being done. I'm pretty happy with the outcome, though, even though there's some parts I wish I had done better. Next time, Gadget!

Done as a matching set, they'll be laminated with cords put on them. I have a big batch of laminated stuff, I'll photograph it as a set (with some currency or something for a size reference) so I don't have a ton of useless submissions. These two are currently hanging out in the flatbed scanner to help get the roll out of the paper before they're plastic-wrapped.

This printed paper with book-type learnings printed on it makes a really good BG to scan on - color adjusting is a lot easier with something besides blinding terrible white.

Favorite part of these is Hat's face. From C: to :< in 30 seconds. Poor Hat.
