Had to do a 1920s project for school, the end result of which was to recreate a period appropriate setting, and act out in the setting for the night. In this case, my group and I did a speakeasy. This piece is a photo of 'me' from last night, wardrobe and all (hence the ever-rare five-fingered paws). 'twas rather fun to do, if not a bit stressful. I particularly enjoyed getting into character, rushing to serve, and even playing dead after eating a 'tainted' piece of cake.

Now, no actual alcohol was served. The bottles in the background are mere (dyed) water-filled props, and any drinks served were actually club soda/sparkling water.



There was cake, though, and that's no lie.
