day 13 of kaijune prompts by flancortes! I'm FINALLY caught up! (phwew!) I'm really proud of myself for sticking with it for as long as I have! I've always lacked the discipline for these sorts of things, so I'm really proud of myself for keeping with it!

this design was inspired by kangaroos, frogs, and crickets! (although I don't think the cricket elements read as much anymore, but that's ok.) i actually looked up some kaiju design elements and apparently one of the rules that Tohl Narita (one of the guys that worked on ultraman) laid out was that kaiju shouldn't look like real living creatures... whoops... but hey, rules are made to be broken!

anyways, this kaiju came out looking a bit more anthro then i usually go for when it comes to my kaijune designs so far, which is kind of neat! i guess since the anatomy is based on kangaroos, that'll kind of happen. still, it's non-anthro enough i'm going to keep that tag.
