Side-shot of the hunter known as quick-draw. One of Kraye's newest warjacks I wanted something that stuck to traditional western themes, what is more western that a six shooter? Six shooter is a combination of green-stuff and wooden dowel (didn't have my plastic rod with me). I felt the roughness of the cylinders looks like some of the older six-shooter pistols I've seen. The sculpted parts include the additional chamber entry point and the back end of the cylinder mount. Added chains along the right shoulder look like traditional honors for a soldier but are also meant to drive a theme across all my miniatures.

hehe :P
I tried my hardest to align and only run 6 cylinders. If you look at the other photo you will see 5 cylinders and the one on the left side of the gun is beginning to rotate into place. Since its hand-made I simply tried to make it as close as possible, especially considering that the original gun looks nothing like what you see now around where the chamber should be.
Thank you for the compliment, I tend to rest my hands in a cupped position together to improve my painting, but I have been trying to speed up my painting, I'd say total of about 4-5 hours on this model total over a couple of weeks.

Well, it worked. I mean, if it's a single-action weapon, he's in the middle of cocking it, if it's a double-action, he's in the middle of firing. It's action-y either way. :P The general aesthetic makes me feel like it's a weapon like the Model 1855 that might misfire and discharge all the cylinders at once. Almost as dangerous to the user as to the target.
