True. But this relationship is better for me than Alopex-X-Raphael. More unique and accurate—even though that is not so realistic either. What's really funny is that the original Ninjara and Rafi pairing is from the 90s, while the IDW one is from 2010, and they don't do it better 20 years later with Rafi's love life. It's just the same as it is with Ninjara. 20 years later, the creators, writers, and artists seem to have learned nothing about Raph's early incarnation relationships. This shows that the writers are more concerned with childish action and fight scenes than deeper thoughts and character-building. That's why, after more than 30 years, the turtle's personalities are still one-dimensional.
