Aren-Tal'an - Colorized & Updated
From my Daggers of Darkness™ sci-fi novel series...
Hey folks, check out this digitally colored and updated portrait of Aren-Tal'an, the Khea Mûr Tua'ansa navigator of the I.E.S. Chel-Sar Se'nika.
I originally drew her in pencil back in 2014, though since then I've made a couple changes to the faces of the Mûr Tua'ansa and the Khea Mûr Tua'ansa -- changed their noses and also made the gray portion of skin on their faces a uniform color, removing the original lighter shade around their mouth and chin. Other things I've done that were "fixes" was to make Tal'an's face more symmetrical (her jaw line on her right was off, so I corrected that, and also fixed the black nose ridge marking to make it symmetrical).
I've added some actual photos of stars in the windows and on the display screen directly behind her, and added some touch-screen controls with text in Tu'an.
As far as the windows are concerned, there are two layers of their equivalent to the Sol Federation's "glass-steel" with a slight gap between them that is filled with a dry, pressurized inert gas. (There is also a closable "shield" of sorts that can cover the windows from the outside when necessary.)
As per the description of her in the original drawing, Aren-Tal'an is 7 ft. 9 in. tall, and is 44 Std. Mûr Zhæn years old (232 Std. Terran years), making her the oldest crewmember on the Se'nika.
