If King were of sound mind at the moment, thinking rationally, and not an absolute workaholic refusing the idea of calling into work, then maybe she would have done just that. Strangely, she seemed to never actually consider the exact source of what could have Toonified her.
As King would discover, much to her chagrin, it appeared as if her new toon self had a strange effect upon anything she attempted to wear that wasn’t already capable of being considered skimpy or beachwear. Putting on a suit would only lead to more things like other swimsuits and beachwear that showed off her form. Thankfully, she at least wouldn’t have to worry too much about winter and getting cold, as she also seemed to exude a summery aura around her that kept her in a state of being ‘comfortably warm’.
Nevertheless, and against all forms of better judgement, King would end up going to work where it managed to lead to quite a bit of attention. from her co-workers. On the bright side, laws set in place to help protect victims of Toon Outbreaks from being wrongfully fired for things against their control as toons meant she was able to keep her job. That, and now that she was a Toon, she counted as a diversity hire that would look good for the company itself. At the very least, she still had a job.
Upon returning home, King would quickly discover that due to leaving the Toonifact unchecked, it had affected her her entire home, turning it into a rather comfy beach-themed home smack dab in the middle of her midwestern suburban neighborhood.
While looking into the changes of her home, King would end up being visited by a grayscaled toon girl dressed like a 1920′s flapper girl, who she would discover was a magical girl whose duty was to go around and deal with sources of Toon Outbreaks.
Though even if the Toon Outbreak was dealt with, the affected were unable to be returned to normal.

This toonverse was already intricate enough and now it takes another turn of the screw, it is beginning to affect other worlds and their inhabitants.
I wouldn't stay if something like this happens in our world, especially if I become a toon maid robot, maybe a Nandroid. (Robots from the comic: Emmy the Robot)
