Whoot Microcomunications Inc.

Founded in 1981, Whoot was initially conceived to provide telephone and banking services to pixie communities across America, with a particular target of the growing class of urban pixie workers. Each "Whoot center" offers a wide range of services, primarily; phone services, internet access, dining, and public bathrooms. Due to a modular design, specialty Whoot Centers also exist for such things as supermarkets, theaters, shopping centers, and offices.

Over the years, Whoot has been critizised for monopolistic, predatory, and overall rude behavior. Whoot has an incredibly central role in the life of an urban pixie, as there are few other places that are capable of serving them. Whoot is often subcontracted to handle pixie-related affairs, including by the US government.
They have also lobbied to restrict urban gardens and public libraries, which Co-Founder Jim Gardener has described as "Our biggest competitors."
