In 2143 the Ion Propulsion technology used in the colonizing and exploration ships could finally be miniaturized for smaller ships such as commercial transport and especially in the fighters that would be the next evolution of the F-45 Star Saber for combat in space and atmospheres other than that of Earth, creating the ACF-118 that would be used in the following years with slight improvements given its efficiency and great durability in space, becoming the new individual combat unit for each fleet of the Earth Union.

It is still unknown how, but the vigilant Pulse managed to get one of the first versions of these fighters, and besides adapting it to be its main transport and home, achieved what is still in experimental phase in miniaturizing for such small ships, giving it a hyper propulsion system equivalent to that used by large ships allowing it to go at three quarters of light speed as these and travel quickly through space without the need to go to a large transport, as well as placing reactors inactive but only functional with the energy of its ability allowing the ship and all its contents and crew to go through the Void for a short amount of time as an advantage, giving the dimensional jumper a great support when traveling and transporting its objectives.
