I absolutely loved how Lyall was just messing with things on the table and making it more of a chore to deal with for Alex.
Dan drinking red liquid that is high on sugar content to deal with his hummingbird metabolism was kind of hilarious to me. It makes perfect sense, but just the idea that he's already drinking like a hummingbird. Love it!
I'm also slightly amused that my favorite Koolaid is red. I'm not turning into a hummingbird, am I? I'd be really happy about that lol
Poor Matt. I've got a lot of respect for him trying to hold out that long to help out Dan. I'm looking forward to hearing from Dan why the two of them were so close. From what I've gathered so far, he isn't super friendly with any of them, but then he went and hugged Matthew. Poor guy.

So sad I hope Matthew's still in there. I like to think that seeing Lyall like that is why he decided to finish changing, stop fighting. Maybe it gave him hope for the future
Might be a bit of a problem in the next chapter between Matthew and Lyall. Usually birds leave each other alone, just go about their business, but raptors like hawks sometimes go after smaller birds. Crows, pigeons, sparrows. And Lyall's been having a lotta trouble with his birdbrain lately
