However the prey might still be awake inside the snake. Deep within the folds and muscle tissue we can see the serpent consumed a full size male canine. The canine seems to be swallowed whole and fully alive. The folds of the belly walls seem constricting yet perfectly snug around it's prey. It seems the prey has submitted to his fate as the python's prize. Be it through means of squeezing submission prior or serpent charm it appears the prey is quite cozy. Perhaps it was always the canine's fate to become a wrapped snack for the mighty python.~
