It’s great to see my old partner again but my very impressionable son keeps bringing a bunch of VERY destructive ground-type moves. We’ve given up on planting grass this year.

Didn't play Pokémon, but I remembered those are sandshrew playing with your tot. I also remembered this series of animated shorts on YouTube regarding traits of actual animals about normal shrews that you might find amusing; sorry if it's off topic, but I hope you enjoy the video anyway...
