From what I've seen SaveAFox's YouTube channel, red foxes (species name, but actually come in many different colors) most common "happy/contented/excited" noise is a breathy, whiney, laughter-like sound, arctic foxes make a harsh, bird-like "yawrk! Yawrk! Yawrk!" And fennecs and sand foxes emit a non-stop, shrill, chittery screeching loud enough rattle any nearby windows!😳😖😅
Actually, I heared thas foxes have a big collection of different noises.
