Have you looked into Mastodon as well? I'm only there now, and there's an ever increasing amount of artists there! Much friendlier place, mods on communities stamp out hate pretty quickly.

It's a nonprofit decentralized confederation of communities that can all talk to each other, you choose an "instance" to be based on. A lot of anthro artists are on mastodon.art, https://mastodon.art/about , and you can use the browser or a mobile client.

The nice thing is that you're only seeing and talking to people you want to talk to, that instance is very good about blocking any hate-permitting instances from even commenting, and it's all around a more relaxing experience without having to worry about bigots and trolls while still having an audience of followers for your work and commission openings. :)
